			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Over the past few weeks, we have introduced several new features and enhancements to the online sales module in the SMS Dimension. In cooperation with our customer Danish Air Transport for <a href="http://worldticket.createsend1.com/t/y-l-tlhrktt-yklltueh-y/" target="_blank">bornholmerflyet.dk</a>, we have now launched the online booking flow in responsive web design.</p>
<p>The approach behind responsive web design is to develop an online user interface that has increased usability in the navigation, is easier to read, where there is less scrolling and a minimum of re-sizing.</p>
<p>Research in online purchase behavior shows that more than 75% of consumers use a combination of minimum 2 devices for holiday shopping, and the new booking flow is of course displayed differently depending on the device, e.g. pc, tablet or smart phone, to give the most favorable view.</p>
<p>Thereby the responsive design gives a significant boost to the user experience, and is a key factor to win the online moment of truth and consequently winning the customer.</p>

<p>With a cost approx. 50% below the average standard industry rate and full transparency on the revenue accounting and cost structure, WorldTicket is breaking with the industry standards and consider ourselves the obvious alternative for global ticketing.</p>

By implementing a new customer in Japan, we will now also support the Japanese writing system requiring significant changes in how we construct and display e.g. our online booking module.</p>
<p>Furthermore, new geographical markets also often mean local legislation that requires new functionality in Sell-More-Seats<sup>®</sup>, which just as often prove to be of use for many of our other customers in Europe.</p>
<p>For more than 6 years WorldTicket has had a local office in Beijing for product development and customer support. By implementing our first customer in Japan we are thereby further enhancing our position in Asia.</p>
<p>Historically our support office has been a way for us to provide our European customers with customer support in a time zone outside of the local office hours in Europe. But thanks to our Beijing office we can also service our Asian customers in their time zones from day 1.</p>

<p>The agenda is still in the pipeline, but with the launch and implementation of WorldTicket Dimensions<sup>®</sup>, we are sure to have many new discussion points and topics on the agenda. As always, we will also look back on our last meeting and pick up unfinished subjects.</p>
<p>The June Development Partner Meeting is the first of two meetings in 2013. 2nd Development Partner meeting will as always be hosted in connection with our Customer Conference in November.</p>
<p>The Development Partner Program is created and hosted by WorldTicket to give our customers <em>real</em> influence on product development.</p>
<p>In 2 yearly workshops we discuss, prioritize and scope new product development. In total 1/3 of the development hours is allocated to the outcome of the Development Partner meetings.</p>

Earlier this month WorldTicket CEO, Lasse Meilsoe, took the stage at ITB Berlin to give his speech on the online moment of truth and has in previous issues of our newsletter likewise shared his thoughts on the online moment of truth.</p>
<p>In WorldTicket we have recently developed new features in our online booking module. With a new matrix giving the passengers a clearer overview of available departures and our new seat map including visual seating, we hope to offer our customers new tools that will help them win the online moment of truth.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.worldticket.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/story11.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-2032" title="story1" src="http://www.worldticket.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/story11.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="180" /></a>Recently we launched a new WorldTicket lab dedicated entirely to this subject. Here we are both looking to our customers for inspiration on how they approach the online moment of truth, e.g. by rewarding their passengers with loyalty points when sharing and liking on social media, but also to the larger carriers in the market for e.g. social seating and travel predictions.</p>

<p>Lasse Meilsoe elaborates on the topic: <em>“With the online sales trends we have seen a growing demand from our airline customers for increasing adaptability and flexibility in the sales channel strategies. This introduces new demands to us as a supplier, both on a product f</em><em>unctionality level but also our know-how on th</em><em>e online trends”.</em></p>
<p>By taking a closer look on the development in the online behaviour of the consumers and the online purchase lifecycle, Lasse Meilsoe will share our insights on how airlines can learn from other industries when it comes to fully utilizing their online sales channels, both through their own website, the online travel agencies, social media etc.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>“My name is Lasse, and I am WorldTicket. Being this close to the Holidays inspires me to not only look back on the past year, but also to look ahead into the new year just around the corner.</p>
<p>One of the observations that pleases me the most is how well so many of our customers are doing. Our industry has not been easy to be successful in the past few years, and so many airlines are struggling to survive in very competitive markets. However, in 2012 I have experienced first-hand how our customers have grown, extended their business areas and swiftly reacted to new opportunities in their home markets. I have also seen how new WorldTicket customer’s have and still are starting up and continuously consolidating and developing their businesses.</p>
<p>In WorldTicket this is what we call FAST FORWARD behavior, and the ability to react to new business opportunities when they arise puts demands on us as a supplier. What my colleagues and I have worked hard at in 2012 and will continue to work at in 2013 is delivering flexible and simple solutions with the level of advanced functionality that is required for our customers to keep FAST FORWARD.</p>
<p>We look forward to seeing you again in the new year, both at the many industry events and conferences where WorldTicket will be represented, but in particular at our own Customer Conference and our Development Partner workshops throughout 2013.</p>

<p>First of all I want to take this opportunity to thank our customers for the two Development Partner workshops in 2012.</p>
<p>It has truly been inspirational to spend this time with all of you and get your valuable and competent feedback on our product development. My colleagues and I are very much looking forward</p>
<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1827" title="story2" src="http://www.worldticket.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/story2.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="180" /> to continue our partnership in 2013.</p>
<p>One of the things I am most excited about for the coming months, is going live with WorldTicket Dimensions<sup>®</sup>. After having the official launch at our Customer Conference this November, we are now in the stages of preparing for implementation during Q1/Q2 2013.</p>
<p>Not only is it exciting to develop and implement new functionality, but helping our airline customers lowering their total cost to it- and solution providers through a common platform for all their major functions and departments, is a significant step for us and also what is so fundamentally new about WorldTicket Dimensions<sup>®</sup>.</p>
<p>With WorldTicket Dimensions<sup>®</sup> cross-departmental data knowledge for fully utilizing know-how and sharing competencies, becomes much more available with one platform. We want to assist in breaking down the silos in the company to assist our customers in moving towards everyone in the airline working even more as one team towards one common goal: servicing the passengers.</p>
<p>2013 is going to be the year of WorldTicket Dimensions<sup>®</sup>, and I look forward to experiencing this with you.</p>
