Over the past few weeks, we have introduced several new features and enhancements to the online sales module in the SMS Dimension. In cooperation with our customer Danish Air Transport for bornholmerflyet.dk, we have now launched the online booking flow in responsive web design.
The approach behind responsive web design is to develop an online user interface that has increased usability in the navigation, is easier to read, where there is less scrolling and a minimum of re-sizing.
Research in online purchase behavior shows that more than 75% of consumers use a combination of minimum 2 devices for holiday shopping, and the new booking flow is of course displayed differently depending on the device, e.g. pc, tablet or smart phone, to give the most favorable view.
Thereby the responsive design gives a significant boost to the user experience, and is a key factor to win the online moment of truth and consequently winning the customer.
